LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY – SUPPRESSORS

SOF warrants to the original civilian retail purchaser that all suppressors manufactured by SOF will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, when used under normal, intended operating conditions and properly maintained in accordance with applicable SOF suppressor manual.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty:

  • Applies only to the original retail purchaser
  • Is non-transferable, except where otherwise required by law
  • Covers manufacturing and workmanship defects only

Unless otherwise expressly stated in a written quotation, proposal, or contract, SOF further warrants that the product will conform to applicable specifications and be free from defects at the time of delivery.

LIMITED WARRANTY – FIREARMS

SOF warrants to the original civilian retail purchaser that each SOF firearm is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use and proper maintenance when operated in accordance with the appropriate SOF firearm manual.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in a written quotation, proposal, or contract, SOF further warrants that the rifle platform and associated factory supplied components will conform to applicable specifications and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. Written notice of any claimed defect must be provided to SOF within twelve (12) months of the original delivery date.

SOF’s sole and exclusive obligation, and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy, under this warranty shall be limited, at SOF’s sole discretion, to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price of the defective product. The warranty period shall not be extended or renewed as a result of repair or replacement.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic or finish wear
  • Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear, including barrel erosion, gas system wear, suppressor erosion, carbon buildup, or heat discoloration
  • Damage resulting from excessive firing schedules or heat exposure
  • Rifles that have been modified, altered, improperly assembled, or repaired by the purchaser or any third party without SOF’s prior written authorization

SOF shall have no liability for rifle platforms that have been abused, altered, or serviced outside of SOF approved procedures.

WARRANTY COVERAGE & REMEDIES

SOF’s sole and exclusive obligation, and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy, under this warranty shall be limited to one of the following:

  • Repair of the defective product, or
  • Replacement with the same or a functionally equivalent product

The warranty period shall not be extended or renewed as a result of repair or replacement.

NO QUESTIONS ASKED REPLACEMENT PROGRAM

In addition to the Limited Lifetime Warranty, SOF offers a No Questions Asked Replacement Program for suppressors that are damaged outside of manufacturing or workmanship defects.

Program Terms

Under this program:

  • Any SOF suppressor may be replaced for 25% of the current retail value
  • No explanation, fault determination, or incident disclosure is required
  • Applies regardless of cause of damage, including user error or catastrophic failure

This program:

  • Is available only to the original retail purchaser
  • Requires the damaged unit to be returned to SOF
  • Is subject to compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws

SUPPRESSOR SPECIFIC COMPLIANCE (NFA ITEMS)

All suppressor warranty claims, repairs, or replacements are subject to:

  • All applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • ATF regulations governing National Firearms Act (NFA) items

SOF will coordinate suppressor repair or replacement in compliance with current ATF guidance. Any transfer taxes, registration fees, or regulatory wait times imposed by governing authorities are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.

RETURN AUTHORIZATION PROCESS

All warranty or replacement claims require:

Products returned without prior authorization may be refused or returned at the customer’s expense.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SOF shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, personal injury, or third-party claims
  • SOF’s total liability under any theory of recovery shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product

This warranty provides specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary by jurisdiction.

POLICY MODIFICATIONS

SOF reserves the right to modify or update the Limited Lifetime Warranty, Limited Warranty and Return Policy. The warranty policy in effect at the time of original purchase shall govern that product.
